Sangam Rai is an inspiring filmmaker based in Kathmandu, Nepal. He believes in the power of cinema as a form of art which helps us understand one another’s predicaments and our shared experiences of ‘life and death.’

PROJECT "SUNAKHARI"

As a fellow member of Gograha, Sangam has developed a script for a short film titled, ‘Sunakhari.’ Sunakhari is a journey of a young mother, from a remote village of Nepal to the city in search of her contactless husband - in process of which she is made to face her own philosophical believes and the belief of her society.
